1. Make haste, O God, to deliver me!

1. Make haste to help me, O Lord.

2. May those who seek my life

2. be ashamed and confused;

2. may those who desire my harm

2. be driven back and humiliated.

3. May they turn back as a consequence of their shame

3. who say “Aha! Aha!”

4. May all those who seek You

4. rejoice and be glad in You;

4. and may those who love Your salvation continually say,

4. “God be magnified!”

5. But I am poor and needy;

5. make haste to me, O God!

5. You are my help and my deliverer;

5. O Lord, do not delay!
