1. To You, O Lord, will I cry;

1. my Rock, do not be silent to me;

1. lest if You were silent to me,

1. then I would become like those who go down to the pit.

2. Hear the voice of my supplications

2. when I cry to You,

2. when I lift up my hands

2. toward Your most holy place.

3. Do not draw me away with the wicked

3. and with the workers of iniquity,

3. who speak peace to their neighbors,

3. but mischief is in their hearts.

4. Give them according to their deeds,

4. and according to the wickedness of their endeavors;

4. give them according to the work of their hands;

4. return to them what they deserve.

5. Because they do not regard the works of the Lord,

5. nor the work of His hands,

5. He will destroy them

5. and not build them up.

6. Blessed be the Lord,

6. because He has heard the voice of my supplications.

7. The Lord is my strength and my shield;

7. my heart trusted in Him, and I was helped;

7. therefore my heart rejoices,

7. and with my song I will thank Him.

8. The Lord is the strength of His people,

8. and He is the saving strength of His anointed.

9. Save Your people,

9. and bless Your inheritance;

9. feed them and lift them up forever.
