1. O God, You are my God;
1. early will I seek You;
1. my soul thirsts for You,
1. my flesh faints for You,
1. in a dry and thirsty land
1. with no water.
2. I have seen You in the sanctuary,
2. to see Your power and Your glory.
3. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
3. my lips will praise You.
4. Thus will I bless You while I live;
4. I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5. My soul will be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
5. and my mouth will praise You with joyful lips.
6. When I remember You on my bed,
6. and meditate on You in the night watches,
7. because You have been my help,
7. therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
8. My soul clings hard to You;
8. Your right hand upholds me.
9. But those who seek my soul to destroy it
9. will go into the lower parts of the earth.
10. They will fall by the sword;
10. they will be a portion for jackals.
11. But the king will rejoice in God;
11. everyone who swears by Him will glory,
11. because the mouth of liars will be stopped.
