1. The Lord said to my lord,

1. “Sit at My right hand,

1. until I make your enemies

1. your footstool.”

2. The Lord shall send your mighty scepter out of Zion;

2. rule in the midst of your enemies.

3. Your people will follow you

3. in the day of your battle;

3. on the holy mountains

3. at dawn of the morning,

3. the dew of your youth belongs to you.

4. The Lord has sworn

4. and will not change,

4. “You are a priest forever

4. after the order of Melchizedek.”

5. The Lord is at your right hand;

5. He shall strike down kings in the day of His wrath.

6. He shall judge among the nations; He shall fill them with dead bodies;

6. He shall scatter heads all over the land.

7. He shall drink of the brook in the path;

7. then He shall lift up the head.
