1. Make haste, O God, to deliver me;

2. Let them be ashamed and confounded

2. that desire my hurt.

3. Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame

3. that say, Aha, aha.

4. Let all those that seek thee

4. rejoice and be glad in thee:

4. and let such as love thy salvation

4. say continually, Let God be magnified.

5. But I am poor and needy;

5. make haste unto me, O God:

5. thou art my help and my deliverer;

5. O Lord, make no tarrying.
