1. The Lord reigns!

1. The nations tremble.

1. He sits enthroned above the winged angels;

1. the earth shakes.

2. The Lord is elevated in Zion;

2. he is exalted over all the nations.

3. Let them praise your great and awesome name!

3. He is holy!

4. The king is strong;

4. he loves justice.

4. You ensure that legal decisions will be made fairly;

4. you promote justice and equity in Jacob.

5. Praise the Lord our God!

5. Worship before his footstool!

5. He is holy!

6. Moses and Aaron were among his priests;

6. Samuel was one of those who prayed to him.

6. They prayed to the Lord and he answered them.

7. He spoke to them from a pillar of cloud;

7. they obeyed his regulations and the ordinance he gave them.

8. O Lord our God, you answered them.

8. They found you to be a forgiving God,

8. but also one who punished their sinful deeds.

9. Praise the Lord our God!

9. Worship on his holy hill,

9. for the Lord our God is holy!
